The annual SEMA Show in Las Vegas is set to unfold from November 5-8, 2024. While attendees have caught glimpses of concept and custom vehicles from various automakers, Ford has now officially joined the lineup with some highly anticipated announcements and impressive custom SUVs and trucks.
Whatās the Ford Custom Garage?
Ford’s most significant announcement at SEMA is the debut of Ford Custom Garage. Recognizing the growing demand for vehicle personalization, Ford has expanded its accessories business by over 20 percent in the past five years. Ford Custom Garage takes this a step further by offering limited-edition packages curated by Ford’s Vehicle Personalization and Performance Parts teams. These packages provide customers with a seamless way to upgrade their vehicles with unique styling and performance enhancements.
From wheels and suspension upgrades to high-performance engine calibrations, Ford Custom Garage packages are meticulously designed, engineered, and tested by Ford to ensure reliability and quality. Each package is backed by Ford’s new vehicle warranty and can be conveniently serviced at any authorized Ford dealership. By ordering a single part number, customers can acquire the complete kit needed to modify their new or existing Ford vehicle, streamlining the customization process.
Promising Ford Builds
The 2024 SEMA Show will showcase Ford’s commitment to customization with four project vehicles featuring potential Ford Custom Garage packages for the Bronco, Bronco Sport, and F-150. Moreover, a special 1969 F-100 named “Clyde,” created in collaboration with truck customizer Solomon Lunger, will be on display. These vehicles exemplify the diverse customization possibilities offered by Ford.
The initial Ford Custom Garage packages available are Matte Black and Sinister Bronze for the Bronco. Each package includes:
- Five custom wheels with black lug nuts
- A two-inch lift suspension kit
- An updated spare tire carrier
- Extended fender flares
- A calibration tool
- Smoked Ford oval emblems
The packages are priced at $5,200 MSRP (Plus destination fee).
The Headlining F-150 FP700S
Before the debut of the F-150 Raptor in 2010, Ford’s performance-oriented F-150 was the street-legal F-150 Lightning, a V-8-powered muscle truck. As the F-150 grew in size and weight over the years, Ford shifted away from the street truck concept. However, with advancements in powertrain and braking technologies, Ford is now prepared to reintroduce this exciting segment.

Ford’s answer is the F-150 FP700S concept, a factory-backed street truck upgrade package. Starting with a rear-wheel-drive F-150 XL Regular Cab, Ford Performance converts it into a high-performance machine. A 3.0-liter Whipple supercharger boosts the 5.0-liter V-8 engine to 700 horsepower and 590 pound-feet of torque.
Additional performance enhancements include a Ford Performance lowering kit, a cat-back sports exhaust, a fender vent kit, and distinctive badging and decals. While pricing for this package has not yet been announced, it’s evident that Ford is poised to captivate a new generation of street truck enthusiasts.
