Ford F-150 Lightning Deliveries Finally Reach All 50 States!

Lightning struck across all 50 U.S. states this month as Ford delivered the Ford F-150 Lightning vehicles to customers across the country! It only took the American automotive giant two months to deliver the electric Ford F-150 Lightning trucks to customers within all 50 U.S states from the quaint shores of the beautiful Kenai River in Alaska, all the way to Houston, and even making its way to Hawaii! Ford handled these vehicle deliveries quickly and efficiently to give customers the truck they’ve been waiting patiently for throughout the entire announcement and development process. Deliveries were quick, lightning quick at that! 

Where the Ford Lightning is the Most Popular
The states that had the highest number of Ford F-150 Lightning deliveries throughout late July were California (the current electric vehicle capital of the United States), and Texas (the truck capital of the United States). This gave a lot of insight into what customers were looking for in which states across the country. Early customers of the F-150 Lightning were able to discover that their vehicle can handle a myriad of different needs, regardless of location. Two customers that shared their experience with Ford, Jeff and Tammy Head (located in Alaska who primarily used their old F-150 and the current F-150 Lightning to tow a boat three hours from Anchorage to Kenai River for salmon fishing) had this to say about their beloved truck “From the time we watched it at the reveal, we knew that we wanted it. We had no doubt that this truck will have trademark Ford quality which gave us the confidence to transition to an electric vehicle.”

The Mega Power Frunk has seemed to be one of the most popular, and even most photographed, features of the Ford F-150 Lightning so far. Owners are taking advantage of the 400 liters of space for storage and the 2.4 kW Pro Power Onboard within the frunk to help power anything from a campsite to power tools while driving! Another customer, Emre Gold of Texas who uses his F-150 Lightning Lariat trim for his remodeling business, had this to say “This truck is a workhorse. We have driven more than 3,000 miles already and towed and carried hundreds of pounds of concrete in the frunk.” First-time electric vehicle owner Chris Ashley (resident of Maryland) also boasted about owning the F-150 Lightning by saying this “The Lightning is the best thing I have ever purchased. With this truck, I can enhance my love of tailgating while at the same time play a small role in creating a better planet for my children.” 

The F-150 Lightning is Ford’s newest Electric Truck and it is winning over the hearts of those who are EV enthusiasts. With nearly 80 percent of those who made early reservations mentioning in a survey that the Lightning would be the first fully electric vehicle within their homes, it’s no wonder that Ford has sold over 4,400 trucks within the United States and Canada. The F-150 Lightning gives buyers technology at their fingertips with the use of the available SYNC 4A while allowing them to also experience capability and strength in an electrified version. The Lightning has ample space and towing capacity to tow, haul, and store more than ever before no matter the length of the drive.
