Ford Launches New Bronco and Bronco Sport Heritage Editions to Celebrate the Original!

The Ford Bronco brand is introducing Heritage and Heritage Limited editions for the 2023 release of the Bronco and Bronco sport that will take trail riders off their off-road roots! The special-edition models will be made available across the entirety of the Bronco family lineup, even including the two-door, four-door, and Bronco Sport SUVs. In order to fully commemorate the year that the original bronco debuted (back in 1966), only 1,966 units of each Heritage Limited edition model will be produced. Both the Heritage and Heritage Limited 2023 Bronco Sport edition models are available to order now, with the two-door and four-door models going on sale later this year. Orders will be prioritized for initial holders awaiting their vehicles and orders will open to all customers next year, regardless of current reservation status.
Mark Grueber, Bronco Marketing Manager shared these words about the release of the Heritage Limited editions “Bronco captivated America in the mid-’60s with its rugged style and uncompromising off-road agility, a legacy that is still prevalent today. With these new Heritage and Heritage Limited editions, we’re paying respect to Bronco’s roots with nods to some of the signature design cues from the first-generation vehicle, while continuing to build the Bronco Brand with more special editions that our customers want.”
The Heritage and Heritage Limited editions will come with many customization options like two-tone paint jobs featuring the signature Oxford White accents fans love on the two- and four-door options. The Heritage will be available in five paint colors, while the Heritage Limited edition will be available in seven and will feature Robin’s Egg Blue, a throwback color based on Arcadian Blue (available only at launch), Yellowstone Metallic which pays homage to the 1971 Ford color Prairie Yellow (which will be available for the 2023 model year, and Peak Blue (which will be available for the 2024 model year). Aesthetic and capability changes will also be made to feature bolder and stronger Bronco styling so that the 1960 Bronco styling will mesh with modern capability. Each trim will offer its own unique set of changes to look forward to, with the Heritage Limited edition to be on the lookout for!
Grueber also went on to say “Bronco Sport has been a hit with compact SUV customers since it arrived two years ago, but it is just as important that we give our customers special editions similar to what we have done with the two- and four-door Bronco. These Heritage Editions are every bit as important to Sport as they are for the rest of the Bronco Brand and we think the iconic themes from the ’60s work perfectly on this vehicle.”
Buyers can look forward to a H.O.S.S system that will increase ride height and will uniquely tune front struts with hydraulic rebound stops in order to provide a more quiet and comfortable off-road experience. They can also look forward to the Terrain Management System with its five G.O.A.T modes to help traverse drivers through all types of terrain with modes like Normal, Eco, Sport, Slippery, and Sand. The Bronco Sport and Bronco Heritage and Heritage Limited editions will be something to look forward to for every kind of driver with all of the added features and customizations available. The Bronco Sport Heritage Edition will start at $34,245 (Plus Destination Fee) and the Heritage Limited starts at $44,655 (Plus Destination Fee). Bronco Heritage will start at $44,305 (Plus Destination Fee) and Heritage Limited will be priced at $66,895(Plus Destination Fee).
