GFC Platform Camper Debuts for the Ford Maverick!

The 2022 Ford Maverick has proven itself among fellow car enthusiasts and Ford fans since its launch. A company called GFC has now debuted a new platform camper for the ’22 Maverick that will be incredibly appealing to those that enjoy camping in the great outdoors.

Perks of the GTF Platform Camper
The Ford Maverick GTC Platform Camper will feature an aluminum space frame and is designed to fit the truck’s 4.5-foot bed perfectly and boasts a 50×90-inch sleeping area along with 7.5-feet of standing room. The camper weighs 255 lbs and sits 6.5 inches above the top of the cab whenever it is not in use. The camper includes an upholstered two-inch mattress for buyers to sleep on, a translucent roof, and all required mounting hardware/seals. It also brings along GFC’s Transform-A-Floor modular floor system that can be further customized.

The camper’s impact on the fuel economy of the Ford Maverick that came equipped with the turbocharged Ford 2.0L I-4 EcoBoost powerplant was tested by GFC, and it was found that it did not make a noticeable difference in that aspect. The current asking price for the new camper is around $7,700, and it is currently available to reserve. Buyers can even take their Ford Maverick to GFC, and the company can install the camper for them! They also have the option to deliver it, and someone can drive to them to establish their camper right in the comfort of their home. Combining the asking price for the Maverick and the GFC camper definitely gives buyers more bang for their buck.
