The Ford Ranger Platinum has yet to make its official debut in the United States, but that does not imply that the demand for the mid-size pickup truck is not there. Quite the contrary. The 2023 Ford Ranger Platinum is geared with a powerful V6 turbo-diesel engine, forming a defining part of the mid-size pickup truck’s standard equipment. The vehicle is paired with a 10-speed automatic gearbox that drives home 247 horsepower and 443 pound-feet of torque. Furthermore, with a brand-new electronically controlled full-time all-wheel drive system, that power is accessible to all four wheels of the truck. In the Ranger Platinum trim expressly, the transmission has been set up on unique mounts that have been re-engineered. This process, in turn, reduces the thrum of noise and vibration.
