The current Ford lineup is looking thrilling beyond measure, and it is only getting better in 2023. Expect to discover all-new 2023 trims designed to take things up a notch. These include fully redesigned versions and mid-cycle refreshes of classic favorites while the Blue Oval prepares to launch yet-unseen vehicles to keep the competition on its toes.
Ford Escape
First up is the 2023 Ford Escape. The brand has provided the Escape with an appealing exterior for 2023, including a broader grille on which to present the automakerās iconic logo. There is also a heap of new wheel designs that decorate the side view. The well-known S, SE, SEL, and Titanium trims have been removed to opt for a different lineup that consists of Active, ST-Line, and Platinum trims. Inside the cabin, all trims have transferred from SYNC 3 to SYNC 4 for infotainment purposes. The SYNC 4 system comes with a standard 8-inch display or a larger 13.2-inch touchscreen, complete with over-the-air-updates.
Ford Mustang
The all-new S650 Ford Mustang was first revealed in September of 2022. It will launch in the summer of 2023 for the 2024 model year. The vehicle brings about the seventh generation pony car with a more aggressive-looking exterior and a tech-centric interior, complete with a flat-bottom steering wheel, a fighter jet-inspired cockpit, and a SYNC 4 system. The Mustang still features a 2.3-liter turbo-four and a 5.0-liter V-8 engine, although both powertrains have faced substantial updates for the upcoming generation.
Ford Super Duty
Expected to debut in early 2023, Fordās pickup truck has been renewed from the top-down for 2023, ushering in new looks and receiving rejuvenated engines. The 7.3-liter V-8 powertrain obtains polished tuning and a modified air intake. The new Super Duty takes on a design style similar to Fordās F-150 pickup truck, integrating functional side vents into the mix. Inside the automobile, an 8-inch touchscreen for the XL is standard, while higher trims can acquire a 12-inch unit.
Ford Ranger
The new Ford Ranger has already premiered in several markets around the world, but it will not reach the United States until 2023 for the 2024 model year. The mid-size Ranger comes with an appearance package, both inside and out, that makes it better suited to the rest of the automakerās truck platform. The U.S. version may see some alterations compared to the international iteration of the vehicle, but it will still have all the ride quality and power of an off-roader.
Ford F-150
A mid-cycle refresh is in store for the Ford F-150 in 2024, as the current generation of the pickup first launched in 2021. There is not much information circulating about the 2024 F-150, but it is presumed that the vehicle will be provided with an improved appearance at the front, rear, and interior, at the very least. It is possible that a multi-function tailgate option could factor into the equation, as well.
Ford Explorer
Much like the Aviator, the Ford Explorer will also experience a refresh for the 2024 model year, with a stylish yet functional design both inside and out. The more rough-around-the-edges Timberline will receive a refresh, too, while an all-electric version is in the works to be launched sometime in 2025.
